A Birthday Party, Pink Eye and 17 Pounds to Love

This weekend Estelle went to her first birthday party for her friend Kenady Kane, who turned 1. She had a good time observing the festivities...and I think she may have been a bit envious that Kenady got to eat birthday cake.

As you can see from the attached picture...it's been a baby boom in these parts this year. Lots and lots of babies being born!

Estelle visited the Doctor this afternoon, after waking up with a gunky eye. My suspicions were confirmed...Estelle has pink eye! Now we just have to wait and see how many of her little friends at the birthday party and at daycare come down with it too.

Estelle weighed in at 17 lbs 4 oz on the Doctor's scale this afternoon!

My, how time flies!

Estelle Rowan Miller was born on November 18, 2008 and our lives were forever changed! It is hard to believe she is already 3 months old!

Watching Estelle grow and change is so much fun! I think I speak for both Jamie and I when I say that we never knew it was possible to love someone as much as we love our little lady, Stella!

I went back to work on February 9th, which meant Estelle going to daycare. I knew it would be hard to leave her, but I had no idea how hard. We now have two weeks under our belt and seem to be settling into a routine.

Estelle has had a busy first 3 months, spending time with family and friends. She took her first walk with Mommy and Daddy a few weeks ago and has made one overnight trip to visit her cousin, Calvin!

She is getting so big (15+ pounds) and is so strong! She can stand up (with help from Mommy and Daddy) and acts like she wants to sit up. We're still waiting for her to roll over.

On Monday Estelle made her debut as a model...she had her 3 month photographs taken. We will share those as soon as they are available.

Today is just a quiet Saturday. Daddy and Estelle are catching some zzzz's in the recliner.
